Building a 21st Century Smart Water Infrastructure
Washington DC will be the site of a one day conference-hosted by the Water Innovation Alliance (WIA)- to examine problems facing the U.S. water infrastructure and discuss innovative solutions.
According to the WIA the U.S. water infrastructure is rapidly aging; many pipes were installed prior to World War II and contribute to an average of 700 water main breaks a day, earning the U.S. water infrastructure a D- from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Come learn how the Smart Water Network will help the US address our aging system with a smart water network based on new technology and IT systems management.
