Dana DeBeaumont brings over 15 years of media and government affairs experience to TechVision21.img_team_dana_t

Ms. DeBeaumont has spent the last six years advocating an aggressive legislative agenda for diverse clients, including The Timken Company, Silica Fume Association, Reynolds Industries, UCLA Center for Communication Policy, Kettering University and The Maryland Center at Bowie State University. The issues that she has worked span from trade to energy and defense, and from labor and education to appropriations.

Her legislative accomplishments include coordinating a coalition of companies, law firms and organizations that successfully lobbied for a major change in the dumping trade laws called the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (also known as the Byrd Amendment). Enactment equals more than $200 million annually for American companies.

Ms. DeBeaumont is a specialist in appropriations. She has successfully managed more than $85 million in appropriations projects. She has worked extensively with the Defense, Transportation Energy, Interior and Labor, Health and Human Services subcommittees.

Ms. DeBeaumont also has worked to facilitate events and fundraising for groups such as The Ripon Society, and key members of Congress, including Republican Conference Chair Deborah Pryce and House Finance Committee Chairman Michael Oxley.

Prior to coming to Washington, Ms. DeBeaumont managed a public relations firm in Illinois, where she garnered extensive media coverage for an array of clients, including political, business, legal, medical and not-for-profit entities. She has served as a press secretary for a variety of local, state, and congressional Illinois campaigns. Ms. DeBeaumont also worked as a reporter in Illinois, covering the Chicago suburbs and the Statehouse.

Ms. DeBeaumont holds a Masters Degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Political Science from Southern Illinois University.
