Women of Washington is a weekly radio program that features interviews with Washington D.C.’s ambitious and influential female executives – role models for the next generation Washington leader.

Kelly will discuss her career from attorney to Assistant Secretary before becoming a CEO as well as the importance of ensuring that emerging technology companies are prepared to partner with the Federal government on R&D funding opportunities, sell their products and services through Federal sales channels and contribute to the debate on U.S. competitiveness and innovation policy.

Kelly’s background as a successful attorney was good preparation to become the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Technology Policy for which she had to face Senate confirmation.  She has gone on to found her own company, TechVision21, and for almost 15 years has been President and CEO.
