4.18.07 Kelly Carnes to Address North Carolina Alternative Fuel and Advanced Transportation Technology Conference

Greensboro, NC – TechVision21 CEO, Kelly Carnes will be a panelist for the April 18th Mobilizing North Carolina: Where Air Quality, Energy and Transportation Meet conference. Carnes will discuss alternative fuel practices and policies, advanced transportation technologies, as well as outline federal funding opportunities for businesses seeking growth or expansion into the alternative energy arena.

The day-long conference expects to attract industry and state leaders, transportation and fleet managers to discuss air quality, energy and transportation issues. The day will conclude with the first annual award ceremony to recognize exemplary efforts of public and private partners in North Carolina to reduce transportation-related emissions. The keynote speaker is renowned paleoanthropologist Dr. Richard Leakey who will speak on climate change.

The event is being sponsored by the North Carolina State University and held at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center and is open to the press.
