clean city and field

A new report from Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) says more than 18,000 clean energy and clean transportation jobs were announced in the in 3rd quarter of 2014.

Nevada and New York were the big winners leading the way.

Reno, Nevada was chosen by Tesla to house the future home of an electric car battery factory.

SolarCity announced the company would be expanding its solar panel manufacturing facility in Buffalo, New York.

Will a Republican-controlled Congress support innovation technologies by producing policy and program funding? E2 says constituents from Democratic and Republican districts benefited almost equally from these job announcements in clean tech.

President Obama  sent his budget to Capitol Hill and Republican Committee chairs will be holding hearings. Authorizing Committees will point to intent, but appropriators will fund priorities for 2015 and beyond.
